A garage, boosters, a collection

Everything starts in the Garage. A free booster refills there every two hours, two at most in reserve, and a welcome booster is waiting on first launch with a guaranteed Gold card or better. Each booster holds six cards: five ordinary cards and one rare card, never Standard. The draw is made by the server, and the opening is a small ceremony: the pack tears open, the cards flip one by one, the best one in pole position.

Real cars, ranked from D to S

The catalogue gathers cars that really exist, from city cars to hypercars. Each one carries a class, which sets its rarity and its base value:

Class What it covers Chance per card
D — Everyday City cars, family cars, vans 40%
C — Family Hot hatches, affordable roadsters 30%
B — Premium Sports cars, GTs 18%
A — Supercar Supercars, icons 9%
S — Legend Hypercars, legends, museum pieces 3%

Every card shows the car’s key figures — power, 0 to 100 km/h, top speed, year, weight — and a fun fact. Photos come from Wikimedia Commons, with their author and licence listed in the “Photo credits” screen.

Six editions, from Standard to Prestige

A card’s second dimension is its edition, in other words its finish. It multiplies the car’s value:

Edition Multiplier What sets it apart
Standard ×1 White frame
Silver ×3 Reflection
Gold ×10 Numbered
Platinum ×40 Numbered, holo
Diamond ×200 Numbered, particles
Prestige ×1,000 Numbered and capped at 50 copies per car

From Gold up, every card drawn from a booster carries a copy number, printed on the card and kept when it changes hands. A guarantee watches over dry spells: with no Platinum for fifteen boosters, the next rare card is at least Platinum; with no Diamond for sixty, it is at least Diamond. And one booster in two thousand is a god pack, every card Gold or better.

Fuse, recycle, craft

Duplicates are never wasted:

  • fusing two identical copies yields one copy of the next edition up;
  • recycling a Standard, Silver or Gold returns dust and coins;
  • crafting a card you are missing costs dust, once a day.

A card marked as a favourite is protected: it can never be recycled, fused, sold or traded by mistake.

Albums and collections

The collection reads like a numbered binder, where every empty slot shows the car that is missing. Albums group cards by make, country, decade and category; completing one pays coins, and make albums pay gems. Themed series arrive through time-limited campaigns: once a campaign ends, its cards can only be found on the market or made by fusion.

The market and trades

Every card has an estimated value in coins, recomputed nightly from its class, its edition and the number of copies in circulation. On the market, you list a card at the price of your choice, between half and three times that value, for one, three or seven days; a tax is taken on each sale. The “Recent”, “Bargains” and “Priciest” views refresh every minute.

Direct trades happen between friends, cards for cards, with trade tokens renewed every week. The game works out the value on each side and refuses a trade that is too lopsided: trades exist to complete albums, not to move value around.

Missions, login streak, levels

Three missions a day and three a week, a seven-day login streak with coins, gems and bonus boosters, permanent achievements, and levels that gradually unlock recycling, fusion, the market and then trades. A daily leaderboard lists the hundred most valuable collections.

Friends by QR code

Every player has a QR code and an invitation link. Scan a friend’s code, or open their link, and you are friends: you can look at their collection once a day, propose a trade, and find them in your profile. The camera is used only to read the QR code; the image is analysed on the phone.

Premium Pass, gems and ads

The game is free and stays free. Three sources fund it, all optional:

  • rewarded videos, which you choose to watch to shorten the timer of the next booster or earn a few coins — never a banner, never an interstitial;
  • gems, sold in packs with the first purchase doubled, which buy Premium boosters (the last two cards go up one edition, and the last one has a one in ten chance of being a card from the limited, numbered Premium collection) or coins;
  • the Premium Pass, a monthly subscription: ten simultaneous listings instead of five, five free boosters in reserve instead of two, two crafts a day, six showcase slots, one extra mission a day and a week, fifty gems every month and a badge.

Nothing is exclusive to paying players except cosmetics and speed: a free player can complete any album.

Frequently asked questions

When will Garage Master TCG be available?
The game is in internal testing on Google Play. It will launch on Android first; the iPhone version is planned next. The download link will appear on this page as soon as it is published.
Is Garage Master TCG free?
Yes. Daily boosters, albums, the market and trades are free. The game is funded by rewarded videos you choose to watch, by gem packs sold as in-app purchases, and by the Premium Pass, an optional monthly subscription that speeds things up without making anything exclusive. Nothing can be converted into real money.
Do I need an account to play?
Yes: signing in with a Google account is required on first launch. It lets you recover your collection on a new phone and keeps sales and trades secure, since all of the game's logic runs on the server, never on the phone.
How do classes and editions work?
Each card pairs a car, whose class (D to S) sets its rarity, with an edition, which sets its finish: Standard, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond or Prestige. From Gold up, every card drawn from a booster carries a copy number; Prestige is capped at 50 copies per car.
Can I make money from my cards?
No. The market and trades run exclusively on virtual coins earned by playing, and no in-game currency can be withdrawn or resold. That is what keeps the game a game.
Are the drop rates published?
Yes. The "Odds" screen in the app shows, for each booster, the chance of every class and every edition, exactly as the server draws them. A guarantee ensures a Platinum or better every fifteen boosters and a Diamond or better every sixty.
Which languages is the game available in?
English and French, car descriptions included. More languages will follow depending on installs.
