The five Chocky Dev apps, compared
Two card games, a Mölkky score keeper, a document scanner and accounting for the French self-employed. Here is the same information laid flat: what each one does, how it is funded, how many languages its interface actually exists in, and what it asks of your phone.
Side by side
| App | Type | Model | Interface translated into |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mölkky Score | Score keeper | Free | 9 languages |
| Papayoo | Card game | Ads, one-time Premium purchase | 15 languages |
| Mojogo | Card games, coming soon | Ads, one-time Premium purchase | 15 languages |
| ScanFree | Document scanner | Free, rewarded video on export | 12 languages |
| EasyCompta | Bookkeeping | Free, Premium by subscription | French only |
Only one of the five offers a subscription — EasyCompta — and it covers just its advanced analytics and exports. The other four have none.
How to choose
- You play Mölkky and you are tired of pen and paper → Mölkky Score.
- You want a card game to play solo against the AI or online with friends → Papayoo, and Mojogo when it ships.
- You need to send a scanned document without installing a paid service → ScanFree.
- You are registered as a French micro-entrepreneur and have to keep an income ledger → EasyCompta.
What each one asks of your phone
ScanFree is the clearest case: it requests no Android permission at all, because the scanner runs inside a Google Play Services activity and saving goes through the system file picker. That is the technical reason your documents cannot end up anywhere else.
Mölkky Score and EasyCompta also keep their data on the device, with no sign-up and no server — EasyCompta does not even have a bank connection to authorise. Papayoo and Mojogo are the only two that leave the phone, and only for online matches.
Why 18 languages of pages, but fewer interfaces
Every app has a page in all 18 site languages, including where the app itself is not yet translated into that language. That is a deliberate choice: a page in Polish explaining what the app does is more useful than no page at all. But it then carries a plain notice, because a visitor should learn the limit before installing, not after.
The table above gives the real coverage. EasyCompta is the extreme case: its interface exists only in French, which is coherent — it serves a French legal regime, with vocabulary that has no equivalent elsewhere.
Frequently asked questions
- Which app should I use to keep score at Mölkky?
- Mölkky Score. It applies the three-miss rule and the drop back to 25 by itself, sets up knockout tournaments, and works offline. If you are still learning the game, the guide to the rules of Mölkky answers before the app does.
- Are the apps translated into all of these languages?
- No, and the distinction matters. This site exists in 18 languages, but the app interfaces are translated into fewer: 9 for Mölkky Score, 15 for Papayoo and Mojogo, 12 for ScanFree, and French only for EasyCompta. Each app page says so when your language is not covered.
- Do I need to create an account?
- Not for Mölkky Score, ScanFree or EasyCompta: they work without signing up and keep their data on the device. Papayoo and Mojogo only need a profile for online play; their solo modes work without an account.
